Service Description

The Term Reiki is a Japanese word used to describe a system of healing originally known as Usui Shiki Ryoho. The best way to understand the name Reiki is by splitting it into two parts Rei & Ki. Rei is Japanese for God, Creator or Spirit. Ki is Japanese for Energy or Power, in yoga we would call this prana Leanne has been attuned in Reiki by her Master Teacher Natalie Wilcox. Her first attunement and complement of level 1 was when she was pregnant with her second baby, consequently she had a very chilled baby (can't say much about him as a toddler mind you!!). She completed her second attunement 2 years later and is qualified to practice this relaxing and healing practice to level 2 standard. Reiki is system of healing, whereby hands are either laid on or around a persons body to create relaxation. The practitioner provides a space for spiritual and personal development. It can also help develop intuity and deeper Self awareness. The person receiving the treatment may feel sensations of heat or cold, tingling, pulling, pushing, joy, tearfulness and more. This generally symbolises a build up or lack of Ki in that part of the body. The practitioner uses intent to help disperse that and get energy moving more freely. Each Reiki treatment can vary from person to person and day to day and therefore it can be a hard thing to describe, its far better to experience it for your yourself. Leanne likes to finish a treatment playing her koshi chimes for a truly magical experience. Leanne is offering this in her home for the first time.

Cancellation Policy

You can manage your own cancellations and re-book through the member login section of the website at the top right of the page or through the fit by wix app. You can also re-schedule classes here to. Cancellations and re-schedule must be 3hrs before the class start time. If you cancel anything less than 3hrs before the start of the class you will not be credited or refunded. We appreciate unexpected matters occur from time to time, if you can’t make it to class, please LOG IN to cancel your space so someone else can have it. We cannot issue credits for last-minute cancellations.  Due to the nature of our booking system (like most) we incur a fee from a banking merchant every time you buy a class or class pass, this also applies every time we issue you a refund. We will issue a refund only if there is no chance of you coming back to the studio and a class credit is not acceptable. Please email us to let us know if this is the case.
