About Leah

Yoga and wellbeing practises were the reason I was able to stay standing through the dark days of child illness and later child loss. Now, my life’s mission is to help you uncover your resilience, reset your direction and access your full potential using these effective techniques.

As a trauma informed Kundalini yoga teacher, my toolkit, developed over 15 years of experience helping people move through life’s challenges and 10 years yoga practice, will guide you emotionally and physically so you can journey forward and live your best life.

When you come along to one of my classes or workshops, get ready to be taken on a journey from your busy life to the peaceful sanctuary within using a beautiful blend of mantra, breathwork, movement and relaxation.

Introduction to Kundalini Yoga Workshop

This introductory workshop is the perfect opportunity for students who are new to kundalini yoga or those who are looking to review and deepen their practice. It’s a style of yoga that is very suited to spiritual growth and developing a deep understanding of self.

What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini yoga works on the body’s energetic systems known as the Chakras and Nadis. Using yoga sets called kriyas, each of my classes will offer a specific outcome, whether this is emotional release or finding more direction in life, you will find this a very ‘purposeful’ and effective practice. My classes will demonstrate how to awaken your kundalini energy, that lies at the base of your spine, through a series of very specific postures, breath work, mantra, meditation and relaxation.

What will I learn during the workshop?

The basics of the Chakra system and Kundalini energy

Core Kundalini mantras used to develop and deepen your spiritual practice

Kundalini breathwork techniques and their uses

What will I experience during the workshop?

During the final part of the workshop, you will experience a full Kundalini yoga class incorporating mantra, mediation, yoga and relaxation. The class will end with yogi tea and an opportunity to share your experiences if you would like.

Kundalini Yoga weekly classes

Kundalini yoga works on the body’s energetic systems known as the Chakras and the Nadis. Using yoga sets called kriyas, I will walk you towards a specific outcome every session, whether this is emotional release or finding more direction you will find this a very ‘purposeful’ practice. I’ll show you how to awaken your kundalini energy, that lies at the base of your spine, through a series of very specific postures, breath work, mantra, meditation and relaxation.

One of my favourite things about kundalini yoga is that the focus is within, this means your ability and experience isn’t what’s important, it’s your dedication to turning up for yourself that really counts. In each pose, you do the best your body allows, you respect your body’s limits whilst also pushing your mental and physical stamina.

I am confident that you will feel the benefits of Kundalini from your very first session and it won’t be long until you see and feel real results in your physical experience and your way of thinking. You will develop tools to get the best from your mind, body and soul and body giving you a new perspective on your experience of life and your capabilities. So, when you start Kundalini yoga, be prepared to manifest and welcome lots of positive changes into your life and relationships with others.

Weekly Yoga for Grief & Trauma 4 weekly blocks

During these themed 4 weekly blocks of Kundalini classes, you will learn effective internal tools to support you through every stage of your grief and trauma journey. Kundalini yoga works on the body’s energetic systems known as the Chakras and the Nadis. Using yoga sets called kriyas, each week I will invite you to explore a specific outcome to support your grief and trauma journey. You will learn how to go at your own pace so that you feel safe and secure as you embark on this healing journey for mind, body and soul.

Kundalini yoga is effective at supporting you through grief and trauma as it directs the focus within. This approach means you do not need to talk about, or even think about, your past experiences or current pain in order for the practice to work. Simply using gentle and effective physical movements with healing mantras and relaxations will help you make emotional and physical releases at your own pace. Using Yoga on your healing journey will also help you to understand the physical impact grief and trauma have on your body.

I am confident that you will feel gentle and effective benefits of Kundalini yoga from your very first session with me and, with the regular structured practice that these 6-8 week blocks offer, significant relief from emotional and physical pain linked to your grief and trauma experiences is achievable.
